V-BOND is Roland's adhesion-focused UV ink, sold under the S-UV part numbers. Where ECO-UV5 is the general-purpose choice and EUV-H is built hard for industrial goods, V-BOND sits between them: a more flexible cured film that keeps its grip on awkward and slightly flexible substrates. It runs on the CO flatbeds in cartridges and the VersaOBJECT MO series in pouches.

Frequently asked questions

When would I choose V-BOND over ECO-UV5?

When adhesion on an awkward substrate is the problem you are solving, or when the finished piece flexes a little in handling. ECO-UV5 remains the general-purpose choice and covers more machines.

How does it compare with EUV-H?

EUV-H is the hard-surface ink — better abrasion and solvent resistance, harder film, and it is the one to specify for industrial hard goods. V-BOND trades that hardness for flexibility and costs considerably less.

Which cartridge should I order for a CO flatbed?

The 500 ml for process colours, where the lower cost per millilitre pays off. The 220 ml suits channels you use sparingly — white and gloss — where a large cartridge risks sitting too long.
