ECO-UV5 Ink
UV Ink — 220 ml, 500 ml Cartridges and 750 ml Pouches
Cartridge or pouch, decided by your machine rather than by preference.
ECO-UV5 is Roland's general-purpose UV ink, running across the BD desktop flatbeds, the CO and LEC2 flatbeds, the MG series and the LG and MO printers. It cures hard enough for handling straight off the bed, stretches for print-and-cut work, and adds gloss, white and primer channels alongside process colour. The three sizes are not interchangeable — each machine takes one format.

One ink across nine machines
From the BD-8 on a bench to the LG-640 on the shop floor, ECO-UV5 covers most of the Roland UV line — so a mixed fleet keeps one ink family on the shelf, in the size each machine takes.
Gloss and primer channels
Gloss builds selective varnish and texture; primer lifts adhesion on glass, metal and other difficult substrates.
Stretches for print and cut
Cured film stays flexible enough for die-cut and contour-cut work without cracking at the edge.
Cheaper white in 220 ml
At $82.99 USD, EUV5-WH is the one colour that costs less than the rest of the 220 ml range — useful, since underbase burns through white faster than process colours.

Frequently asked questions
Which size does my machine take?
BD-8 and BD-12 take 220 ml cartridges. CO-300i, CO-640i, LEC2 and MG series take 500 ml cartridges. LG series and MO series take 750 ml pouches. They are not interchangeable.
What is primer for?
Primer is laid under the colour to improve adhesion on glass, metal and other low-energy surfaces. On those substrates it is the difference between a print that survives handling and one that does not.
How does ECO-UV5 differ from EUV-H?
EUV-H is the hard-surface ink, with a harder cured film and better abrasion and solvent resistance for industrial hard-goods work. ECO-UV5 is the general-purpose ink and covers a much wider range of machines.
Why is white cheaper in 220 ml?
That is what the September 2026 Roland price list shows — $82.99 against $106.99 for other 220 ml colours. It is not an error on our side.
