Soft-Touch Matte Thermal Laminating Film
A velvet-feel, low-glare matte laminate for roll laminators. Soft-touch film gives covers, menus, business cards and packaging the tactile, premium finish of high-end print, resists fingerprints and deepens blacks and saturated colours.
- Material: 30 micron bi-oriented polypropylene (BOPP) with heat-activated adhesive
- Widths: 12, 18, 25 and 27 in.
- Lengths: 500 ft and 2,000 ft
- Cores: 1 in. and 3 in.
- Thermal film — requires a hot roll laminator; adheres to virtually any printed substrate
- Single-sided or two-sided lamination; can be spot-UV coated or foiled afterwards

Which core do I need?
Match your laminator's supply shaft: most desktop roll laminators take 1 in. cores, wide-format and production machines 3 in. Both are stocked in every width.
What temperature and speed?
Start around 105–115 °C (220–240 °F) at a slow-to-medium speed and adjust for your stock; soft-touch is forgiving but likes a little extra dwell on heavy covers.
Is it the same as the pouches?
Same soft-touch matte finish. The roll film is 30 micron BOPP for roll laminators; the pouches are PET for pouch laminators.
Can it be foiled or spot-UV coated?
Yes — soft-touch is the usual base for spot UV and foil accents on premium covers and packaging.
How fast does it ship?
From Toronto, usually the same or next business day, across Canada and to the USA.
