The BY2-20 is a 20-inch desktop direct-to-film (DTF) printer. It prints CMYK plus dual white onto DTF film at up to 1,440 dpi, and includes standalone cutting, so one compact device handles both transfer printing and cut vinyl work.

DTF transfers from the BY2-20 apply to cotton, polyester, denim, nylon, rayon, and blended fabrics. Because the design is printed onto film and then heat-pressed, it works across fabric types that direct-to-garment printing struggles with.

Maximum printing and cutting width is 18.89 in. (480 mm). It accepts media from 5.91 to 20.27 in. (150 to 515 mm) wide, on a 2 in. or 3 in. core.

The BY2-20 adds a second white ink line, automated white-layer generation, and substantially improved production stability — up to 98–100%, compared with 69.2% on the BY-20.

S-PG2 ink in 220 ml or 500 ml cartridges, across five channels: cyan, magenta, yellow, black, and two whites. The dual white configuration helps hold density and opacity across longer runs.

Beyond the printer you need DTF film, adhesive powder, a way to cure the powder with heat, and a heat press to apply the finished transfer. Powdering and curing can be done by hand when starting out, or with an automated shaker and dryer as volume grows.

Yes. Standalone cutting runs at 0.4 to 5.9 in./sec (10 to 150 mm/sec), which covers lettering, numbering, and heat-transfer vinyl graphics without a separate cutter.
