Print and cut in one pass
— the first latex printer with contour cutting built in, so a graphic leaves the machine finished instead of moving to a second device that has to be re-aligned.
The AG-640 pairs latex printing with a built-in cutting carriage, so one machine covers the whole job. Seven-colour ink adds orange, red and white to CMYK for a wider gamut, and the redesigned media transport and dryer keep long runs steady. Prints and cuts media up to 64 in. wide.

Integrated Print and Cut
One machine, finished graphics
Contour cutting comes standard, so prints and cuts happen on the same device. That removes a second machine from the floor and the alignment step between them. Cutting runs 10 to 300 mm/s with 30 to 500 gf of blade force, using Roland CAMM-1 series blades.
Seven-Colour Latex
A wider gamut for brand colour
Orange, red and white join CMYK and optimizer, so the AG-640 reaches vivid shades and difficult brand colours that a four-colour machine cannot. A four-colour plus optimizer configuration is also available when the extra gamut is not needed.
New Printhead and Ink
Fine detail at production speed
Two staggered printheads split the work: the rear head lays optimizer across four nozzle rows, while the front head prints colour across eight. At 300 npi per row the colour head varies droplet size for smooth gradations, and TA2 ink refills from 750 ml pouches.

Frequently asked questions
Does the AG-640 really print and cut on one machine?
Yes. Contour cutting is standard rather than an add-on, so a job prints, cures and cuts in sequence without moving to a separate cutter. That removes the alignment step between two devices, which is where registration errors usually creep in.
What is the difference between the four-colour and seven-colour configurations?
Four-colour runs CMYK plus optimizer. Seven-colour adds orange, red and white, which widens the gamut for vivid shades and brand colours, and lets you print white for clear or coloured media. Both use the same 750 ml TA2 pouches.
What media can it handle?
Roll media from 355 to 1,625 mm (13.98 to 63.97 in.) wide, up to 1.0 mm thick with liner for printing. Rolls can be up to 250 mm in outer diameter and 45 kg, on a 2 in. or 3 in. core.
What power does it need?
Two 200–240 V a.c. supplies. The printer and its outlet draw 3 A each, and the two blowers draw 12 A and 10 A. Plan for roughly 4,200 W while running. Connect the cords to separate breakers.
