V-BOND UV Ink
Flexible UV Ink — 220 ml, 500 ml and 750 ml
Formulated to bond and flex where a harder UV ink would crack or lift.
V-BOND is Roland's adhesion-focused UV ink, sold under the S-UV part numbers. Where ECO-UV5 is the general-purpose choice and EUV-H is built hard for industrial goods, V-BOND sits between them: a more flexible cured film that keeps its grip on awkward and slightly flexible substrates. It runs on the CO flatbeds in cartridges and the VersaOBJECT MO series in pouches.

Grips where harder inks let go
V-BOND is formulated around bond strength rather than film hardness, which is what makes it the right answer on substrates that flex slightly in use or handling.
Bends without cracking
The cured film tolerates gentle deformation, so prints on curved or semi-rigid goods survive being picked up, packed and used.
The cheapest UV ink in the range
At $99.99 CAD for 220 ml, V-BOND is well below ECO-UV5 and less than half the price of EUV-H per cartridge — worth weighing where the job does not need a hard film.
White and gloss included
White for dark and clear substrates, gloss for selective varnish and texture, alongside four-colour process.
Choose your model
Part S-UVP-7XX, for the VersaOBJECT MO-180 and MO-240. Six channels: cyan, magenta, yellow, black, white and gloss.
Part S-UV-5XX, for the CO-300i and CO-640i flatbeds. Five channels: CMYK and gloss.
Part S-UV-XX, also for the CO flatbeds, in six channels including white. The smaller cartridge suits low-volume or occasional channels such as white and gloss.
What V-BOND prints
UV work on flatbeds and object printers where adhesion and a little flex matter more than a hard surface.

Frequently asked questions
When would I choose V-BOND over ECO-UV5?
When adhesion on an awkward substrate is the problem you are solving, or when the finished piece flexes a little in handling. ECO-UV5 remains the general-purpose choice and covers more machines.
How does it compare with EUV-H?
EUV-H is the hard-surface ink — better abrasion and solvent resistance, harder film, and it is the one to specify for industrial hard goods. V-BOND trades that hardness for flexibility and costs considerably less.
Which cartridge should I order for a CO flatbed?
The 500 ml for process colours, where the lower cost per millilitre pays off. The 220 ml suits channels you use sparingly — white and gloss — where a large cartridge risks sitting too long.
