LO-640-F3
Pro Series Flatbed UV Printer — 64" × 96"
— a 59.8 × 96.4 in. print area that takes finished goods, panels and awkward shapes, not just flat sheet stock.
The LO-640-F3 is a large-format UV-LED flatbed for printing directly onto objects and rigid stock. The bed accepts pieces up to 9.5 in. thick and 220 lbs per square foot, and a Generic Distance mode extends jetting range so uneven surfaces still print cleanly. Up to eight ink channels, including white, gloss and primer.
ECO-UV EUV5P ink in 750 ml pouches. Call 800-268-6577 or email sales@printfinish.com.
Prints on shapes that are not flat
A dedicated print mode and waveform extend the jetting distance, so the LO-640-F3 handles non-flat surfaces and pieces where the print area sits below the highest point of the object — trays, phone cases, plates, awards, machinery and parts.
White under or over colour
The machine prints white plus CMYK or CMYK plus white by reversing print direction, front to back or back to front. No ink rearrangement is needed before installation, so both jobs run on the same setup.
A vacuum table for heavy, awkward work
A powerful, quiet vacuum with a blow function holds pieces steady, taking up to 220 lbs per square foot. An origin-point laser sets the base position, blank space skip shortens runs, and an ionizer inside the gantry controls static.
Print directly onto the object
Objects up to 64 in. wide, 9.5 in. thick and 220 lbs per square foot — including pieces where the print area sits below the highest point, using Generic Distance mode.
A four-step production workflow
Roland DG Connect Designer, VersaWorks 7, and the BY2-20 work together as one connected design-to-print workflow.
Place the work
Set the piece on the vacuum table. The blow function helps position heavy items, and the vacuum then holds them steady.
Set the origin
Use the laser pointer to mark the base point, and the 7-inch touch panel to set height and print mode.
UV-LED lamps cure as the job runs, and blank space skip passes over empty areas rather than travelling them.
Unload and check
The signal beacon reports job state from across the room, and prints are handleable straight off the bed.

Frequently asked questions
What can the LO-640-F3 print on?
Rigid stock and finished objects up to 1,625 mm (64 in.) wide and 242 mm (9.5 in.) thick, at up to 220 lbs per square foot. The print area itself is 1,520 × 2,450 mm (59.8 × 96.4 in.).
What is Generic Distance mode?
A print mode with a longer jetting distance, for surfaces that are not flat or where the print area sits below the highest point of the piece. Roland cites trays, phone cases, plates, awards, machinery and parts.
Can it print white under and over colour?
Yes. A reverse printing feature runs white plus CMYK or CMYK plus white by changing print direction, so both are available without rearranging ink channels.
What power and space does it need?
A 230 V, 16 A, 2P+E supply, drawing roughly 2.90 kW while running. The machine measures 114.3 × 136.2 × 61.5 in. and weighs 2,029 lbs, so plan the floor and access route before delivery.
How loud is it?
Up to 90 dB (A) while running and 80 dB (A) on standby — high enough that placement and hearing protection are worth planning for. The vacuum is the main source.
